The Canal Saint-Martin, a 4.6 km waterway originally inaugurated in 1825, is currently nearing the conclusion of a significant €15 million redevelopment project. By prioritizing the reduction of car traffic, the development seeks to reserve the quays specifically for pedestrians and cyclists, allowing exceptions only for residents and emergency vehicles.
