The work will deliver 3.4 km of cycling facilities, 147 new bicycle bays and 10,400 m² of pedestrian space by the end of 2026. Additional elements include 52 trees, 3,205 m² of open-ground vegetation and 10 biodiversity refuges, alongside 2 new public toilets, 15 sorting shelters, 50 benches, 2 pedestrian bridges and 18 crosswalks.
These numbers formed the basis for discussion at the June 4 session, allowing participants to ask how the added vegetation and refuge structures will integrate with the mobility upgrades already visible on Quai de Valmy.
