Daily routines will shift once work begins. Deliveries to ground-floor shops on Rue de Rennes will move to early morning slots during the October phase. Pedestrian detours will route foot traffic along Rue Jacob for three weeks on each segment. Local advocates note that evening lighting installations could reduce dark spots reported in the 2025 safety survey.

One concrete figure appears in the budget paper: 450 parking spaces will be suspended in rotation across the affected streets. The legislation states that permit holders in zones 6-1 and 6-2 receive priority reallocation within 200 metres of their original spot.
