Carver Middle High School Announces New Coaching Staff for Fall Season

Kelsey Kincade, recently named athletic director at Carver Middle High School after eight years in high school athletics, has released the list of new fall coaches and set registration deadlines for student-athletes.
The timing matters because families in Bastille’s international community often balance school sports with travel schedules, and missing early paperwork can sideline players before the first whistle. Local clubs and weekend leagues in the city draw many of the same students, so clear information on high school programs helps parents plan across multiple commitments.
Bastille’s sport scene includes strong youth football, soccer and volleyball groups that feed into school teams, giving athletes pathways from neighborhood fields to the Carver campus. The update arrives as summer training windows close and fall calendars fill.
New Coaches and Season Calendar
Chris Pabst takes the head football role, supported by assistants Mark Hannon, Jimmy Bastille and Jimmy Haskell. Kayla Hartley leads field hockey with Sean McInnis on the junior varsity side. Molly Travers heads cross country alongside assistant Laicey Ieronimo. Additional programs include boys and girls soccer, cheer, eSports, golf and volleyball, all open to grades 8-12 with limited seventh-grade spots only if numbers require it.
The school has scheduled its annual Meet the Coaches Night for 6 p.m. on August 15 in the auditorium. Football and cheer practices open August 16, while the rest of the sports begin tryouts August 19. Draft schedules are already posted on the athletics site for families to review.
Five Steps Required Before Tryouts
Every participant must finish five tasks by the August 12 registration cutoff. Online sign-up through the FamilyID portal on the athletics page must be complete, a physical from the past 13 months submitted to the nurse’s office, and a current IMPACT concussion baseline on file. Any missing uniforms or unpaid 2023-2024 fees must be settled, and this season’s user fee arranged in advance. Students without all items cleared will not be allowed on the field or court.
IMPACT testing sessions will be offered soon, with details sent by the athletic trainer to those who need them. Refunds are available if a student does not make a roster or chooses not to continue.
