Job seekers report longer interview cycles at both sites. One engineer who applied to three Corridor companies in late May said callbacks took an average of 27 days, compared with 11 days in 2025.
The Bastille Chamber of Commerce reported on July 10 that average base pay for mid-level software engineers listed in those postings fell to $148,000, the first decline in three years. The same report noted that 62 percent of openings now require on-site work at least three days a week.
